I decided to upload some of my better BJD pics here. Other people have doll photos and dolls are such a big part of my life that it makes sense for me to put my favorite shots here.

I haven't posted anything in ages because I haven't been drawing, but I've been tagged by , so here goes.

All right, before we start, please state your name and your talent: I'm Lori. I don't have a talent because I'm a human. Well, I have talents, but not a Talent.

How did you discover Disney Fairies?: I saw the Prilla and Fira dolls in the Disney Store and bought them both right away. I looked up the fairies online and shortly made a LJ community for them, urged by one of my LJ friends.

Who is your favorite fairy and why?: Vidia. She takes no shit, she's ambitious and determined, she doesn't mince words, and she's highly intelligent. She's easily the most like me. I think I'd live away from the other annoying fairies, too.

What is your favorite book and why?: Vidia and the Fairy Crown. It's got my fave character, my second fave character (Prilla) and it's well-written.

Who is your least favorite character and why?: Clarion. I won't even call her queen! She's okay in most of the chapter books, but she's AWFUL in Fairy Haven. She's never done anything to really impress me.

What is your least favorite book and why?: It's a tie between Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand and Beck North of Neverland. The former is sometimes well-written, but frequently trite, and the author makes most of the characters completely unlikable. She pretty much ruined Clarion for me. I didn't have anything against her before that. The Beck book is REALLY poorly written though. It was like the author didn't research a damn thing! It's an insult to the fandom.

If you were in charge of making a Disney Fairy movie what would it be about: Vidia. I'd like to go into her past and why she hates Clarion. Maybe it could have her researching the previous queens to see if there was any info she could use against Clarion. Then we'd get a little extra history, too.

Do you agree with Lasseter when he says that Peter Pan should NOT appear in these Tinker Bell films: Yes.

Where is your favorite spot in Pixie Hollow: I don't know where I'd like. Probably the dining room! Or Havendish Stream.

If you were a fairy who would be your best friend and why?: Vidia would be the closest thing to a best friend. I don't think she's really capable of having them.

Do you have a fairy at Pixie Hollow.com, if so what is her name and what is her talent?: Yeah, but I don't remember her name. Something Foxglove? She was a Light talent.

Based on what you know about what is coming up in the Disney Fairy franchise what are you most excited about?: The Myka chapter book! And the new chapter books for the other fairies, too. It's going to be great to finally learn something about the Scout talents.

What do you hope the future brings for the Disney Fairy series?: MORE VIDIA MERCHANDISE. And the continuation of the chapter book line. I prefer the book fairies by far, so I don't want them ever forgotten!

And now...homework. Bah.

Faced with an insane desire to draw, I grabbed one of the small, fancy notebooks I randomly purchased last fall and started sketching. I don't normally do freehand because I have no major skills, but I'm happy with the three sketches I turned out. I'll be posting them tomorrow. I need to get to bed (interview in the morning!) and don't have time to scan. But expect to see Reggie and Jug from Archie Comics and Icy from Winx sometime tomorrow.

I vow to draw more over the summer.

Free time. Sweet, sweet free time. I should have it again in some capacity.
